Valencia is a flat and warm Mediterranean city. Best conditions for enjoying outdoor specially if you are on holidays and you are moving by bike. We have selected for you our favourite parks. Some are historic places and some others have botanical interest, but all them are wonderful spots.

El Cabanyal Highlights

El Cabanyal is the old fisher’s quarter of Valencia, located on the city’s seafront. The maritime district was once an independent town, called Pueblo Nuevo del Mar, which joined Valencia at the end of the 19th century, but it has not lost its essence and its own personality.

Brief History of Valencia Port

The coast line of Valencia, 4 km away from the historic city, is a long beach without shelters occupied for centuries by the marshland of an Albufera much more extensive than the present one. For this and other reasons, the history of our port is not obvious, but rather rather curious.

Cabanyal for foodies

The neighbourhood of Cabanyal has been for centuries the home of families dedicated to fishing in its various tasks. This fact, added to the disconnection of the area with the historic center of Valencia until recently, has made the gastronomy of the neighbourhood evolve in an original way.
